Meet the Founder

Julia (Jules) Siwierka, Ph.D.
Founder & Principal Consultant

An avid lover of education, I am dedicated to supporting learners, instructors, administrators, and funders through program evaluation, grant support, and capacity building. I first fell in love with education and its transformative ability to improve lives, families, and communities as a Dominican Volunteer (AmeriCorps) at a school for migrant and refugee women learning English as a Second Language. Their tenacity and interest in learning inspired me to work with organizations that formally or informally focus on education. Throughout graduate school, I fell head over heels for evaluation, working with youth development initiatives and family literacy programs to measure outcomes and build evaluative knowledge and systems. Now, I’m focused on supporting higher education, K12, non-profits, and businesses through Siwierka Research!

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, live performances, museums, Chicago’s culinary offerings, and admiring my two cats.
